“I think my aim to make this life qualitative and not quantitative makes me unique. I am a believer of slow life and seek contentment over popularity.”
“I have designed scarves since 2010, and have always had a love for fabrics and graphics. Starting with an Internship at an export house, where 11 of my designs went into production, that served me in good stead to develop personal orders and freelance for the US, Europe, and Japanese market. I went on to design several accessories while working at Lecoanet Hemant (Uniforms) and Wills Lifestyle. Now my label SEDHANTIK does ethically sourced and produced scarves, pocket squares, and shawls. It brings together my love for the craft, my passion for working with craft clusters and my appreciation for modern, contemporary design. I cherish the rich textile history of our country and marry it with a modern day aesthetic for a larger, global audience. The products are made of Handloom weaved ahimsa silk, cotton silk, and wool, (wooden), contemporary geometric graphics executed with block print, manual screen prints and Phulkari embroidery.”
