“An adventurer in textiles and colour who likes to put a modern twist on tradition and who loves sharing her skills and passion for yarn and knitwear.”
“I have extensive experience in the fashion industry which ranges from working as a designer of crocheted garments and accessories for a high street supplier to working for high-end fashion and handbag designers (as a production manager and sales manager). One of these jobs was working for the designer Marjan Pejoski as their production manager, working with a factory and independent artisans in Bali, Indonesia, to produce garments and accessories including hand crocheted and hand embroidered pieces. I now design and make knitted accessories for men, women, and home (www.chelache.com). I am experienced not only in knitwear but in crochet, weaving, tapestry, dyeing, embellishment and pattern cutting.”
