“I’ve always worked to become an ethical fashion designer because I want to fight for the world where I want to live using my creativity and sharing culture.”
“During my studies I created a collection of necklaces using different techniques like finger knitting, hand weaving, and textile fringes, selling them at the University bazaar. I developed textile accessories for Sabahar in 2013 during a 4-month Internship, working with artisans and making many products (especially textile necklaces).
In 2015 I designed and made a RTW collection (clothes, textile accessories, jewels and leather goods) for women, inspired by the beauty of Ethiopia.
I developed a jewelry collection using semi-precious stones from Madagascar with a modern design.”
